Description: These pod vases have been wheel-thrown and decorated using a method called ‘Sgraffito’, meaning to scratch. The design is my depiction of the Banksia blechnifolia – a shrub form of the plant which has fern like leaves. Sealed with Liquid Quartz™ sealer and glazed with Seafoam, which is a combination of light green and blue that resembles the water on a rocky beach.
