Description: These pod vases have been wheel-thrown and decorated using a method called ‘Sgraffito’, meaning to scratch. The design is my depiction of the Banksia blechnifolia – a shrub form of the plant which has fern like leaves. Sealed with Liquid Quartz™ sealer and glazed with a deep blue with subtle hints of turquoise.
