Exploring deeper connections to nature…
It considers our flora and new life, as well as the seed pods that require fire or other elements to produce and re-seed, and thus directly correlating to the heat of ceramics. More broadly it considers ideas that may have been brewing in many creative minds that are finding a way to grow and flourish. This includes taking a step from work that was produced for the 2024 exhibition ‘Habitat’ for some of our artists.
The evolving annual Ceramics Group Exhibition returns March 2025 with nine artists this year. Joining some talented familiar faces are experienced newcomers, Cindy Tong and Glenn England.
All artists are lending their skill, style and concept driven work to explore the theme of ‘Germinate’. ‘The blossoming of ideas and a deeper connection to nature.’
Opening with an artist led Q&A on Saturday March 8th 2-4pm. The exhibition runs March 7th-30th.

The Hive
Established in 2016, the gallery is dedicated to sharing local, national and international art, in a thoughtfully curated space. The story behind the works is considered, providing art lovers with the opportunity to purchase artworks that bring them both joy and contemplation.
The Hive is a small entity but a committed community player employing environmentally and ethically sound business practices. They foster national and international artistic collaboration in support of sustainability, education of the arts, and themes of wellbeing and the environment, as they continue to grow their presence.
